About the Role:

We Care For You Senior Services in Southbury, CT is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team. Responsibilities:

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes in patient condition to nursing staff

Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning residents to prevent pressure injuries

Support meal preparation and feeding assistance to ensure proper nutrition and hydration

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents

Build trusting relationships with residents and families through compassionate, person-centered care

Document care activities accurately in accordance with facility policies and procedures

Requirements:

Active Connecticut CNA certification in good standing

Previous experience in a senior care, long-term care, or home health setting preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to assist with patient transfers and perform physical tasks associated with resident care

Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a high standard of care

CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly populations
