    Position: CERTIFIED PR/SERE High Risk Training Instructor

    Type: Full-Time

    Location: Camp Lejeune, NC

    Travel: 10-15% (Travel to states including CA, FL, NC, SC, TN, VA, ME, and WA; may change per mission need)

    Position Summary : Certified PR/SERE HRTIs deliver full-spectrum SERE instruction, support the development and execution of training programs, and ensure all students and staff meet program standards. They operate under the supervision of senior instructors and Section Leads, providing practical exercises, coaching, evaluation, and administrative support throughout the PR/SERE curriculum.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    These services are required to support unique efforts which may require:

    • Deliver classroom, practical, and field SERE training to DoD personnel

    • Participate in role-play, debriefing, and scenario-based exercises

    • Prepare, document, and update training records and student assessments

    • Maintain all physical safety and security standards

    • Support the development and refinement of instructional materials

    • Remediate and coach students as directed

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Possess/maintain Secret clearance

    • Ability to obtain/maintain CAC/SIPR token access

    • U.S. Citizenship/Residency required

    • Proficient in English (verbal/written)

    • Strong communication and teamwork skills

    • Graduate of an approved DoD FSLC SERE Course, or combination of SERE Level C and Peacetime Detention/Hostage Detention (PGDHD) (or equivalent – e.g., SERE 211, 215, 225) as certified on DD214 OR willing to successfully complete the MARFORSOC PR/SERE FSLC SERE course

    • Graduate of an approved DoD Instructor Training/Certification Course (e.g., MIQC)

    • Must also meet all requirements for Basic PR/SERE Instructor

    • Meets all requirements of a PR/SERE Certified Instructor

    • Physical fitness that meets or exceeds NAVMC 1553.2 and OF-178 standards

    • Meet all physical requirements for high-risk instruction

    • Function in classroom, field, and simulated captivity environments

    • Willing to work flexible schedules and extended hours based on training demand

    Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The employee frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
