    Our team is hiring a CESE Container Technician III Warehouse Support Services for the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) in Williamsburg, VA.

    The Container Technician – Level III provides senior-level technical support, inspection, maintenance, modification, overhaul, and certification of ISO containers and 3:1 Configurable Shelters in support of Expeditionary Medical Systems (EXMEDS) operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring containers and shelters meet safety, certification, and readiness requirements to support operational deployment and sustainment activities.

    The Container Technician Level III serves as a subject-matter expert for container condition assessment and certification processes and supports fleet-wide readiness through hands-on technical execution, accurate documentation, and coordination with warehouse and logistics teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform advanced inspection, maintenance, repair, alteration, and overhaul of ISO containers and 3:1 Configurable Shelters

    • Conduct container condition assessments to determine serviceability, repair requirements, and certification status

    • Support certification and recertification activities in accordance with the Convention for Safe Containers (CSC) standards

    • Execute and document container certification processes consistent with MIL STD 3037 requirements

    • Identify structural, mechanical, or configuration deficiencies and perform or recommend corrective actions

    • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, modification actions, and certification status in approved tracking systems

    • Support container preparation for storage, issue, transport, or deployment readiness activities

    • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and maintenance personnel to align container availability with operational timelines

    • Ensure practices support safety, accountability, and configuration control of container assets

    • Maintain cleanliness, tool accountability, and safe work practices in all maintenance and inspection areas

    Required Qualifications

    High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

    • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience performing maintenance, inspection, repair, alteration, overhaul, and certification of ISO containers and 3:1 Configurable Shelters

    • Demonstrated knowledge of Convention for Safe Containers (CSC) regulatory requirements

    Demonstrated knowledge of container certification processes in accordance with MIL STD 3037

    Security Requirements

    Valid Driver’s License; All NMRLC contractor employees must be U.S. citizens and maintain a favorable federal suitability determination (typically NACI with SF‑85/SF‑85P) sufficient to obtain and retain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) for installation, system, and facility access. Continued eligibility is required throughout contract performance, and loss of CAC or suitability status may result in removal from the contract.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting CESE or similar fleet or industrial equipment.

    • Familiarity with inspection cycles, certification tracking, or readiness reporting.

    • Prior exposure to DoD warehouse, logistics, or maintenance support operations.

    • Experience supporting deployable, expeditionary, or contingency equipment programs.

    Preferred Qualifications and Skills

    • Prior experience supporting government, DoD, or expeditionary equipment programs

    • Experience working in warehouse, logistics, or maintenance environments supporting deployable assets

    • Familiarity with container lifecycle management, readiness reporting, or certification tracking

    • Experience supporting surge or contingency-driven operational timelines

    • Strong technical judgment and attention to detail in inspection and certification activities

    • Ability to interpret technical standards, certification criteria, and inspection documentation

    • Effective coordination skills across maintenance, warehouse, and logistics teams

    • Ability to prioritize work based on readiness requirements and operational demand

    • Adaptability to change schedules, mission requirements, and workload surges

    • Working knowledge of safety practices applicable to container maintenance and inspection environments
