HCT seeks an accomplished financial executive to serve as the Interim Chief Financial Officer for a 75+ bed hospital in Arizona. The CFO provides strategic financial leadership and oversight of all fiscal operations, including accounting, budgeting, treasury, procurement, and revenue cycle, while partnering with the CEO and Board to ensure sound financial performance and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all financial operations and staff
- Develop and manage operational and capital budgets
- Provide financial analysis, ROI evaluation, and strategic recommendations
- Present timely reports to the Board and Finance Committee
- Direct audits, compliance reviews, and internal controls
- Represent the organization in community and regulatory meetings
Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field required
- Licensure/Certification: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
- Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive financial management experience within a healthcare organization providing acute and outpatient services; at least five (5) years in a senior leadership role (CFO, Controller, or equivalent); Experience in a Tribal Self-Governance or similar healthcare system; familiarity with EHR revenue cycle systems and government financial management practices
