    Job Description

    CFO Hub is seeking a Controller for a large, established company in the Manufacturing industry. The position is with this client and not with CFO Hub This company started off as a small aluminum boutique in 2006, today, has evolved to be recognized as the most innovative extruder on the West Coast. 

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Oversee accounting activities including AP/AR, Purchasing, and Vendor Management.

    • Maintains records of invoices, debits, and credits.

    • Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service departments and from customers.

    • Demonstrates positive leadership traits at all times

    • Posses strong verbal and communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels

    • Responsible to communicate the unusual or our of norm situations to upper management

    • Maintains a clean and well-organized work area

    • Show consistent on time attendance

     

    Job Qualifications 

     

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are non-exclusive of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  

     

    • Extensive knowledge of Aluminum Extrusion industry, processes and end users

    • Follow up on status of orders, die problems, due dates, changes etc

    • Process customer and sales request for quotes

    • Ability to perform advanced computer operations specific to in-house production software (EPICS) along with accounting software (AccountMate).  Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel

     

    Requirements:

     

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required

    • Three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Solid understanding of GAAP

    • Comfortable with meeting deadlines and budgets

    • CPA License or licensing in-process preferred

    • Resourceful and comfortable with the unknown - not afraid to Google
