    CONTEXT: Our client is a growing, values-driven organization, is actively seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their leadership team. The CFO will serve as a strategic partner to ownership, helping guide financial decisions, capital strategy, and long-term growth. This individual will build and lead the accounting/finance function, while also playing a critical role in capital raising, lender relationships, and investment strategy.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Build, lead, and develop the accounting and finance team, establishing scalable processes and strong internal controls.
    • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow strategy.
    • Lead debt structuring and financing strategies, optimizing capital stack and securing favorable lending terms.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact with banks, lenders, and financial institutions.
    • Partner with leadership on capital raising efforts, including investor communications and presentations.
    • Provide financial insight and strategic guidance for real estate investments, including multi-family, portable housing, and related assets.
    • Support acquisition and growth initiatives through financial modeling and due diligence.
    • Build a high-performing, self-governing team culture—empowering leaders without micromanagement.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader in a high-growth environment.
    • Strong background in real estate, private equity, or investment-focused businesses.
    • Deep understanding of debt structuring, capital markets, and financing strategies.
    • Demonstrated success in raising capital and managing investor relationships.
    • Experience negotiating with lenders and securing optimal financing terms.
    • Track record of building and leading accounting/finance teams.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to operate both hands-on and at a high level.
    • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and execution.
  • Compensation
    $190,000-$225,000 per year
