    Job Title: Patient Service Representative

    Job Summary:
    The patient service representative is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing administrative support to patients and healthcare professionals. This role plays a vital role in ensuring a positive patient experience by efficiently handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, processing paperwork, and addressing concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Greet and check-in patients, ensuring accurate and complete demographic information is collected
    - Answer phone calls, emails, and online inquiries promptly and professionally, addressing patient queries and providing information
    - Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring appropriate resources and facilities are available
    - Register new patients, verify insurance coverage, and collect necessary documents or payments
    - Efficiently manage patient records and maintain confidentiality by adhering to privacy regulations
    - Collaborate with healthcare professionals and departments to coordinate and communicate patient needs, updates, and test results
    - Resolve patient concerns or complaints effectively and escalate complex issues to supervisors or management as required
    - Ensure accurate and timely billing and processing of payments, collaborating with billing and finance teams as necessary
    - Stay updated on and adhere to medical policies, procedures, insurance regulations, and compliance standards
    - Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front desk area, including stocking necessary supplies and creating a welcoming environment for patients

    Qualifications and Skills:
    - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus
    - Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients
    - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in processing paperwork and maintaining records
    - Proficient in using computer systems, electronic medical records, and various software applications
    - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism
    - Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance billing procedures, and HIPAA regulations is advantageous
    - Outstanding problem-solving skills, with the ability to calmly and effectively handle difficult or challenging situations
    - Reliable and punctual with exceptional multitasking abilities, adapting to changes and maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment
    - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, procedures, and industry developments

    Working Conditions:
