    CFP Physicians Group is currently looking to hire an APRN or PA to join our team. Our primary care clinic has been serving patients in Casselberry and the surrounding area since 1987, and we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.     Essential Job Functions

    Obtain health history and perform physical examinations.

    • Diagnose and direct counseling for each patient on a plan for treatment.
    • Prescribe medication in accordance with state statutes and professional practice guidelines.
    • Maintains a problem-oriented health record for each patient seen in accordance with the established Health Information Management policies and procedures.
    • Assures continuity of care by providing comprehensive medical services on a timely basis as per office schedule within the office’s scope of practice and the provider’s training.
    • Provides excellent internal/external customer service via telephone, videoconference, chat, or face-to-face contact to assist patients with their healthcare needs.
    • Perform minor surgical procedures.
    • Review incoming reports (e.g. lab, x-ray, EKG) sign, date, and follow-up promptly.
    • Follows established departmental and office policies, procedures, and objectives; continuous quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
    • Participates in specified health promotion, education and/or prevention programs as needed i.e. diabetes collaborative/health fairs etc.; attends and participates in provider meetings / departmental meetings and other office functions as required by the practice.
    • Assist in updating protocols and principles of practice as requested.
    • Assist in outside medical public relations functions.
    • Trains, mentors and supervises students and clinical support staff, as appropriate Supervises mid-level practitioners (physician assistants and nurse practitioners).
    • Perform other duties as assigned by medical director.

    Professional & Technical Knowledge:

    • Follow Safety and OSHA requirements
    • Maintain appropriate certifications
    • Undergo credentialing, utilization and peer reviews
    • Employee will be expected to navigate and operate Microsoft Office suite products, including Word and Excel

    Licenses & Certifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
    • Current and Valid APRN or PA license in the State of Florida
    • Current BLS (basic life support) Certification

    Communications Skills:

    • Effectively and tactfully communicates complex and/or technical information to co-workers, patients and/or vendors
    • Bi-lingual preferred
