CFS has partnered with a well-respected financial institution in the NE San Antonio area. With the needs of a growing team, they are looking to add a Mortgage Loan Processor to the team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3+ years of job-related experience.

ABOUT THE POSITIONS – MORTGAGE LOAN CLOSER

The primary function of the Mortgage Loan Closer is to ensure the timely and accurate closing and funding of all mortgage loans. As a Mortgage Loan Closer, you will also be responsible for preparing accurate closing disclosures and loan closing documents in order to have a fully compliant mortgage loan while providing a high level of member service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE MORTGAGE LOAN CLOSER:

• Update loan files within the loan origination system as necessary to ensure consistent processes of completed tasks assigned and milestone completion

• Prepares all loan-closing documents and closing disclosures, ensuring that they are accurate in order to have a fully compliant loan; Carefully reviewing all documents for any errors, and confirm that pricing and program are correct to insure proper funding of loan

• Act as intermediaries between all parties in the closing transaction of which include members, attorneys and closing agents to answer any questions and resolve any issues

• Manage all assigned loans in their respective pipeline while working within stated timelines reported in real estate contracts as well as management established turnaround times.

• Reviewing all closing/underwriting conditions, title commitments and insurance policies are accurate for document preparation

• Accurately generate wires and disburse loan proceeds upon funding

REQUIREMENTS FOR MORTGAGE LOAN PROCESSOR:

• High School Diploma/ GED

• 1-3+ years of mortgage loan closing work experience

• Ability to function efficiently and effectively under deadlines and stress while maintaining a professional and mature profile

• Ability to work well with internal and external customers/members while using excellent written and oral communication skills

• Detail oriented with the ability to problem solve and effectively self-manage

• Ability to close a minimum of 25 loans on a re-occurring monthly basis and a minimum of 5 rush loans per month with ease
