CFTSS Program Director
Brooklyn, NY
150-180K
Join a mission-driven agency in downstate NY as we build our CFTSS program from the ground up. As the program is only one year old, this is a rare opportunity for a hands-on, forward-thinking Program Director to shape its future. You will work closely with the Clinical Director to create strong foundations, drive growth, and ensure high-quality, family-centered care. This is a leadership role that requires strategic thinking, a collaborative spirit, and the energy to problem-solve and adapt as the program evolves.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the CFTSS program, ensuring effective service delivery for children and families in the early years of the program.
Collaborate with the Clinical Director to design and implement policies, workflows, and staff training that support quality, compliance, and program growth.
Build and mentor a team of service providers, supporting ongoing professional development and fostering a positive, mission-driven culture.
Monitor program performance and quality metrics to identify early challenges and opportunities, making data-informed adjustments as needed.
Establish strong relationships with referral sources, community partners, and oversight agencies to build awareness and grow the program’s impact.
Ensure compliance with all state and contractual requirements for CFTSS services.
Serve as a resource for staff, clients, and families—addressing concerns, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth experience for all stakeholders.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in program management or leadership within behavioral health, social services, or related fields—experience launching or scaling new programs is a plus.
Strong understanding of New York State CFTSS regulations, service models, and best practices in family- and community-based care.
Skilled at building teams, designing workflows, and implementing processes in dynamic or start-up environments.
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to guide decisions and improvements.
Collaborative, adaptable, and committed to supporting children and families with complex needs.
If you're excited by the chance to shape a new program at its most formative stage—and you thrive in environments where your ideas and leadership can make a visible difference—this is your opportunity. You’ll play a central role in building a program that will serve the community for years to come.
