Preferred Practice Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist (CFY-SLP) to join our pediatric clinic in Gardena.
Your Clinical Fellowship should be a time of professional growth—not a year spent feeling overwhelmed or unsupported. At Preferred Practice Therapy, you will receive consistent supervision, hands-on mentorship, a structured pediatric caseload, and the administrative support needed to build confidence as an independent clinician.
This position is ideal for a new graduate who wants to strengthen their clinical skills, complete their fellowship requirements, and establish a long-term career within a supportive pediatric practice.

Competitive salary of $80,000-110,000K

Approximately six to seven scheduled clients per day
One Hour of Dedicated Documentation time Daily

Position Responsibilities
Conduct pediatric speech and language evaluations under appropriate supervision
Develop individualized, functional treatment plans
Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy
Treat children with articulation, phonological, receptive language, expressive language, social communication, fluency, and other communication needs
Establish measurable goals based on each child’s needs and family priorities
Complete evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and other required documentation accurately and on time
Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding progress and home recommendations
Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathology assistants, physicians, regional centers, schools, and other professionals
Participate actively in supervision, mentoring, and professional-development activities
Maintain professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
Contribute to a positive and supportive clinical environment
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
Eligible for a California Required Professional Experience temporary license
Eligible to begin an ASHA Clinical Fellowship
Strong interest in working with pediatric clients and their families
Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Reliable, professional, receptive to feedback, and committed to clinical growth
Bilingual English–Spanish skills are a plus, but not required
Pediatric practicum or internship experience is preferred
