    Summary of Responsibilities

    The Controller, a key member of our leadership team, will provide financial management and analysis that allows for forward thinking in support of the company’s financial goals. The Controller will provide the company with the big picture view of the financial health of the company and the impact of current actions/results as they relate to future profitability.

    Essential Functions

    • Responsible for all accounting functions within the company, as well as the company’s adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Responsible for evaluating and implementing accounting systems, policies, and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency within accounting department.
    • Responsible for staff meeting their goals and objectives at a high level of effectiveness.
    • Responsible for annual internal audit and preparation of tax docs for CPA, as well as all banking relationships and all insurance renewals, securing adequate coverage, with lowest rates.
    • Provides management with accurate and timely analysis of organizations financial status and progress –historically as well as future trends.
    • Provides monthly WIP adjustment and financial management support on projects as needed.
    • Oversees HR initiatives, including systems, compliance requirements, 401K, and Insurance benefits for all employees.

    Education, Experience, and Skills Required

    • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
    • At least 5 years of experience as a Controller
    • Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and dashboard reporting projections.
    • Extensive experience in AP/AR and payroll
    • Extensive experience with job costing
    • Strong management and leadership skills
    • Must work well under pressure
    • Must be detail-oriented and can also focus on the big picture
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Compensation and Benefits

    • $100,000-$115,000
