Located within the Washington corridor, CGH has worked successfully with Government, Commercial and International sectors, providing management, development and maintenance, and support of large and complex environments. CGH has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned ACP Engineer/Developer to join the CGH Team.

     

    PURPOSE:

    Lead the delivery of ACP Engineering and Development efforts in support of client contract.

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support the development and delivery of traffic safety engineering, automated traffic management, and gate/pedestrian control systems / PLC programming, de-bugging and remote diagnostics.
    • Provide Enterprise-level system integration and troubleshooting.
    • Deliver Field-level programming of IP devices, software applications, HMIs, and PLC embedded hardware.
    • Provide Enterprise-level software integration and support.
    • Experience with all automated AVG and APT baseline software applications required to configure, update, maintain, manage, operate, and support both onsite and remotely.
    • Provide Field-level operational testing and troubleshooting.
    • Conduct system operational verification testing (SOVT) and compliance audits for deployed and maintained baselines.
    • Provide Project Management and coordination of complex systems development, deployment, and support.
    • Support and conduct operator, technician, and superuser training for automated vehicle gates and automated Pedestrian Turnstiles.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

    NUMBER OF YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • 7+ years experience supporting ACP engineering or development projects.

     

    MINIMUM EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technologies, or related field.
    • Advanced degree in Engineering preferred.

     

     

    TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • Demonstrated capability with traffic safety engineering, automated traffic management, and gate/pedestrian control systems / PLC programming, de-bugging and remote diagnostics.
    • Experience with Enterprise-level system integration and troubleshooting.
    • Demonstrated capability with Field-level programming of IP devices, software applications, HMIs, and PLC embedded hardware.
    • Experience with IA hardening on Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
    • Experience with Enterprise-level software integration and support.
    • Experience with all automated AVG and APT baseline software applications required to configure, update, maintain, manage, operate, and support both onsite and remotely.
    • Demonstrated capability with Field-level operational testing and troubleshooting.
    • Demonstrated capability to conduct system operational verification testing (SOVT) and compliance audits for deployed and maintained baselines.
    • Demonstrated Project Management and coordination of complex systems development, deployment, and support.
    • Demonstrated capability to build and conduct operator, technician, and superuser training for automated vehicle gates and automated Pedestrian Turnstiles.

     

    COMPUTER SKILLS:

     

    OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

    • U.S. Citizen or person with valid U.S. Work Visa who has lived in the U.S. for three or more years.
    • Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware and software.
    • Experience working with industry specific technologies.
    • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
    • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with the most senior levels of internal staff, management and clients.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong leadership skills.
    • Good project management skills.
    • Ability to lead and work in a team environment.

    • Ability to identify how information technology can enable the achievement of business objectives.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear and use a computer/keyboard/mouse for several hours on a daily basis.
    • May require occasional light lifting of up to 10 pounds.
