Home Helpers of Bergen County is hiring a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for a part-time position assisting a male client in Mahwah, NJ. The client is physically independent but requires support with daily tasks and companionship. This is a great opportunity for a caregiver seeking steady weekday hours and a meaningful role.

Position Details:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Location: Mahwah, NJ

Pay: $18 per hour + mileage reimbursement for errands

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks

Provide companionship and conversation

Offer medication reminders

Accompany client to errands and local appointments (mileage reimbursed)

Qualifications:

Valid NJ CHHA license (required)

Reliable, patient, and professional demeanor

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Prior experience with elderly clients preferred
