POSITION: Chief Executive Officer ORGANIZATION: Harbors Home Health & Hospice LOCATION: Pacific Northwest Coast - Hoquiam, WA
Harbors Home Health & Hospice, a nonprofit healthcare organization with over 44 years of dedicated service to the communities of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties, is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer/Administrator to lead our organization into its next chapter of growth and excellence.

Position Summary:
The CEO/Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, performance, and operations of Harbors Home Health & Hospice. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality care and services, compliance with regulatory standards, and the successful execution of the organization’s mission and vision. The ideal candidate is a strong, collaborative leader with a deep understanding of home health and hospice services, and a passion for serving the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the organization in alignment with its mission and vision.
Oversee daily operations to ensure consistent, high-quality care and service delivery.
Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, referral sources, healthcare providers, and the broader community.
Monitor staff performance, ensuring access to training and development to maintain clinical excellence.
Serve as the principal advisor to the Board of Directors, providing strategic insights and operational updates.
Guide policy and procedural decisions in alignment with organizational values and community needs.
Foster community partnerships to enhance coordinated patient care and expand the organization’s outreach.
Represent the organization at public events, industry conferences, and within professional networks.
Oversee the development and management of the annual budget and ensure fiscal responsibility.
Support and enhance fundraising efforts and donor relationships.
Cultivate and lead a high-performing executive and leadership team.
Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in home health and hospice care.
Qualifications:
Must hold one of the following:
Washington State Physician’s License
Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) License
Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field and at least one (1) year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or a related healthcare program.
Proven leadership experience in home health, hospice, or related healthcare services.
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and build strategic partnerships.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and community service.
