CHR Consulting Services, Inc. (CHR) is a leading health care consulting services company. Due to a recent promotion, we are seeking a Clinical Services Specialist to serve our clients in long-term care facilities.

The general purpose of the Clinical Services Specialist position is to coordinate the overall nursing services/clinical systems quality assurance plan and program for an assigned number of nursing facilities/clients through onsite visits and direct communication with key client personnel, especially with the client Administrator and Director of Nursing Services. Additionally, the Clinical Services Specialist monitors client nursing services to assure nursing service performance is consistent with company standards, facility policy, standards of nursing practice and federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Further, he/she assists regional staff and facility/client administration in training nursing service personnel, recruitment and screening of Nursing Consultants and Directors of Nursing Services, as well as conducts orientation of facility/client nursing management personnel.

Position requires: current RN license with minimum of 5 years nursing experience with at least 2 years’ experience in either supervision, administration or long-term care consulting and excellent working knowledge of Federal Nursing Home Regulations. Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing/healthcare, working experience in Minimum Data Set and Case Mix review and experience in adult training/education. Travel is required.
