Job Description
MAIN PURPOSES OF THIS POSITION:
The Purchasing/Supply Chain Specialist is a tactical role that manages all aspects of dispensing equipment, production supplies, raw material, transfers, purchasing reports and other various business needs. The Supply Chain coordinator also assists with front door/visitors to the plant and customer service as needed.
INTERFACES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the incumbent will have key internal interfaces with the Director of Operations, Plant Managers for our four US locations, accounting personnel, and Dispenser Technicians. This position will work collaboratively with the entire organization in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
PURCHASING/BUYING ACTIVITIES:
· Issue, track, manage, and close all purchase orders and deliveries
o Raw materials for all NA sites
o Dispensing equipment
o Indirect Materials
· Import/Export
o Issue and track purchase orders for raw materials imported for other countries
o Manage customs/port recovery process and suppliers
· Manage and monitor supply base to improve cost competitiveness and ensure suppliers meet Chryso standards
· Develop and implement strategies resulting in improved supply chain/purchasing performance
· DOT requirements: inspection, title, and registration of trailer and truck assets
· Perform Market test and supplier management
SUPPLY CHAIN ADMIN ACTIVITIES:
· Key tactical resource for Director of Operations and Supply Chain Manger
· Compiles data and performs analysis as requested
· Performs administrative duties for Supply Chain Manager and Director of Operations as needed
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL LEVEL:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred, but not required
· Excellent written/verbal communication skills
· Creative, quality and results-driven work ethic
· Proven negotiation and strong analytical skills
· PC skills (Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint)
· SAP/Sage/ERP experience on purchasing routines and environment
· Experience in transports, international trade and logistics purchases can be an advantage

SCHEDULE:
Full time - Day Shift: Monday – Friday (periodic needs to work outside normal business hours)
Travel: 0-10%
