Fitness Managers at Chuze Fitness lead a team of Instructors and Coaches who work together to offer dynamic and motivating team training sessions and group exercise classes. Our Fitness Managers are the epitome of positivity, motivation, and professionalism in the field of fitness training. Not only do they set an exemplary standard for coaching / instructing; they also hire, train and hold accountable a team of fitness professionals to do the same. In addition to being responsible for the technology, maintenance, and upkeep of the fitness studio, they also they handle all administrative tasks, scheduling, provide quality professional development for the team, and oversee the entire operation & growth of their program.

The Role
The Fitness Manager promotes the Chuze Fitness programs by leading a skillful team of fitness professionals who provide a friendly culture and excellent workouts. As the Fitness representative to members, club staff, coaches, and instructors, the Fitness Manager communicates effectively, listens to detail, is persistent with follow-through, and problem solves proactively. The Fitness Manager is responsible for the successful day-to-day operations of Fitness programs, staff, and studios within the club.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Exercise Science, Physiology, Kinesiology)
Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA, ACSM, or NASM) with 2 years of experience
Group fitness certification with at least 1 year of experience
TRX training
CPR/AED certification
2 years of management experience
2 years customer service experience
Ability to lead outstanding Team Training sessions (average score 92/100) *If the initial qualifications are met, candidates will undergo Coach Training, which will consist of intensive instruction & role play regarding culture, interactions, and how to coach Chuze Team Training sessions.
Excellent communication, time management, organizational and follow up skills
Computer literacy
