Area Maintenance & Facilities Manager
Position covers Clubs in the San Diego area and Orange County
The job of Area Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the maintenance, repair, and alteration of existing Chuze Fitness facilities in an assigned region; serving as the Chuze Fitness representative in planning and developing facilities maintenance needs.
Primary Objectives:
Manage annual CAPX and expense budgets, with the rolling 5-year CAPX budgets in mind
Collaborate with in house techs to implement and maintain services and maintenance programs
Ensure that jobs are completed efficiently and within regulatory guidelines
Work independently under broad organizational guidelines to achieve unit objectives, manager and supervise company funds
Required Skills/Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2-4 plus years' professional experience in Facility Management is desired
Ability to facilitate group discussions, analyze situations to define issues, and draw conclusions
Ability to develop and lead a team of technicians
Ability to develop safety protocols, handle hazardous materials protocols, and operate equipment used in the building trades
Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; some climbing and balancing; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and considerable fine finger dexterity
Utilization of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) (preferred)
Coordination of total facility maintenance for multiple buildings across districts and construction (preferred)
Prior experience in facilities maintenance (maintenance experience in managing a fitness facility preferred)
