A day in the life of a Maintenance Chuzer
Chuze Fitness is currently on the lookout for individuals who are highly organized and have the drive to keep equipment and facility items in tip-top shape! Our Maintenance Team is the bones of Chuze Fitness and plays a crucial role in providing the best member experience possible! Each shift will consist of but is not limited to minor and major repair of all fitness equipment, preventative maintenance, responding to emergency requests, maintaining records of scheduled procedures, holding General Managers accountable to club-level preventative maintenance, obtaining estimates for supplies/equipment, ordering miscellaneous replacements, and performing bi-weekly payroll for district-level maintenance teams.
For maximum success
High school graduate
Bachelor's degree or current continuing education preferred
Knowledgeable of Matrix, Life Fitness, Precor, and Freemotion gym equipment
Prior leadership/management experience
Familiar with CMMS software
Basic knowledge in areas of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry
Essential physical requirements
General assistance to Operations: walking and climbing stairs
Standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time
Repetitive telephone work
Typing and computer operations
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
Driving a company or personal vehicle: outside appointments or traveling to another Chuze club
