Supervise a small field crew installing cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) for sewer and storm lines. Plan daily work, enforce safety, meet production goals, and deliver compliant installs. CIPP curing methods may involve hot water, steam, or UV; follow controls for chemical exposure and ventilation. 
Key Responsibilities – CIPP Foreman
- Lead, coach, and hold crew to safety and quality standards.
- Build daily plan: manpower, materials, equipment, traffic control.
- Run setups: bypass, liner handling, inversion/installation, cure, cool-down.
- Verify specs, take measurements, and document production and safety.
- Monitor productivity; adjust sequence to hit schedule.
- Coordinate with Superintendent/PM on risks, delays, and changes.
- Operate and care for trucks, boilers/UV rigs, compressors, generators.
- Perform hands-on tasks when needed.
- Complete reports: time, safety, production, incident, vehicle/equipment.
Qualifications – CIPP Foreman
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years as foreman or crew lead in CIPP or water/sewer utilities.
- Confined space entry capable; follows permit-required procedures.
- CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days; clean MVR per company policy.
- Reads/interprets safety rules, O&M instructions, and procedures.
- Accurate field documentation; basic computer/mobile app use.
- Travel is limited in this role at less than 25% - mostly local projects close to Pittsburgh, PA with the occasional overnights.
Preferred Qualifications – CIPP Foreman
- Experience with steam or UV cure processes and QA records.
- Traffic control experience; flagger certification.
- Confined space attendant/supervisor training.
- OSHA 10/30.

- Pay: $35–$40 per hour, non-exempt.
