Position Summary:

Circle L Solar, Inc. is looking for a skilled, self-motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our team.

Description: Under general supervision, conducts a variety of installations, repair, and maintenance functions.

Examples of Duties:

Install electrical service equipment, wiring and devices required.

Assist with general site preparation and clean up

Troubleshoot PV/electrical systems and resolve electrical issues

Perform system commissioning and function checks

Trenching, concrete and rebar work to install underground wiring and create system foundations

Follow specifications on blueprints/diagrams/technical drawings for solar installations

Under the supervision of the Master Electrician, review system and interconnection design for adherence to Electrical Code (NEC)

Attend electrical inspections as needed on behalf of company

Work with office installation management to track/update electrical inventory

Ensure a quality installation experience for the customer

Perform other duties as assigned or required

Requirements:

Active Journeyman Electrician license

Competence in design of electrical systems including electrical wire sizing, conduit sizing, installation methods, conduit bending, etc.

Ability to read drawings and apply NEC code requirements

Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and extreme environments, e.g., hot sun, crawl spaces, etc.

Physical mobility and the ability to work in various positions for extended periods of time as necessitated by the installation

Capable of lifting 50+ pounds of weight, transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks

Excellent teamwork and communication skills
