    LOCATION: REMOTELY BASED NEAR A MAJOR METROPOLITAN AREA. ATLANTA, CHARLOTTE, TAMPA, OR ORLANDO PREFERRED

    NUMBER OF WEEKLY HOURS: FULL-TIME (EXEMPT): 40 HOURS/WEEK, SOME EVENINGS & WEEKENDS

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Campus Engagement Coordinator (CEC) is a member of the CISabroad University Relations team and will be based in the Southeast region, reporting day to day to the Regional Director. The CEC is responsible for assisting and supporting the University Relations (UR) team in recruitment. The position's main objectives are to help the region obtain its lead goal and increase CISabroad's outreach to alumni of CISabroad programs on college campuses, resulting in a higher volume of leads, applications, and increased brand awareness. The CEC will do this by representing CISabroad at study abroad fairs and other events in the region.

    This position is part of a team of dedicated professionals at CISabroad who work collaboratively to increase enrollment on CISabroad programs. This position is a good fit for independent, self-motivated, creative, critical thinking, and energetic young professionals/recent graduates interested in the field of international education.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES

    --STUDENT RECRUITMENT

    • Represent CISabroad at study abroad fairs, pre-departure orientations, career services fairs, and other student-facing campus events at institutions as directed by UR Directors and Managers

    • Engage with students outside of official study abroad activities to gather leads and increase awareness of CISabroad (open advising hours, alumni ambassador events, campus clubs, classroom presentations, etc.)

    • Articulate and advocate actions and approaches that assist CISabroad in reaching students more effectively

    • Share out trends from the road in relation to student interests, questions, challenges, and more

    --ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT

    • Work with the Alumni and Events Coordinator to recruit Alumni Ambassadors (AAs), and maintain the AA database
    • Connect with alumni to drive innovative new student outreach tactics
    • Enhance relationships with university partners as directed by regional strategy driven by UR Regional Director

    --ADMINISTRATIVE

    • Manage travel expenses and reconcile expenses in an accurate and timely manner
    • Coordinate travel logistics in a timely and cost-effective manner for regional travel; including airfare, lodging, and ground transportation

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

    • Bachelor's degree (by start date)
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
    • International study/intern/volunteer/work/or travel experience
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as be a team player
    • Ability to travel frequently in the assigned region and to CISabroad home office for trainings
    • Effective written communication and public speaking skills
    • Skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced environment
    • Team player with a rockin' sense of humor

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Sales, marketing, or outreach experience
    • Experience working or volunteering in a study abroad office or promoting your study abroad program as an alumnus
    • Experience living/working in the designated region

    WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Remotely based within region; working from your home office when not traveling
    • Frequent air and/or ground travel, with some nights and weekends during the peak recruitment season (September-November, January-April)
    • Hours during the recruitment season, trainings, and conferences fall outside of the typical 9-5 and often spill into the evenings and weekends
    • Ability to lift or maneuver up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, walk long distances, climb stairs, bend, and squat
    • Stamina to sit on planes/in cars for long periods of time, especially due to unforeseen flight delays or traffic
