    POSITION SUMMARY:

    We are looking for a mission driven Quality Engineer who is passionate about building reliable solutions for customers in mission critical situations.  In this role, you will help develop, test, and deploy products that protect our nation’s elite Special Operations teams, critical infrastructure, and most valuable organizations from nefarious drone threats.  To do this, we’ve assembled a group of world-class business/strategy, product design, technology, engineering, and data science professionals with deep knowledge and experience in counter drone solutions to work alongside you in tackling one of the country’s most challenging threats.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Under minimal supervision, you will develop strategies and approaches that help accelerate deployment of new capabilities to operators on the front lines
    •  System level evaluation and validation of hardware and software solutions with a focus on continuous improvement
    • Present test result reports to Engineering Leadership to help prioritize product development efforts
    • Deliver data-informed recommendations for hardware selections that shape the future development of the product

    YOU SHOULD HAVE:

    • One Team.  One Fight. Mentality
    • Pursuing a bachelors or masters degree from an accredited institution with completed course work in Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or Computer Science
    • Ability to understand new concepts quickly, apply them accurately, organize, schedule, and coordinate work plans; and determine an action plan with little supervision across a range of complex problems
    • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills

    IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE:

    • Willingness to jump in and lead new projects independently
    • Ability to work extended hours as required
    • Ability to perform complex tasks in one or more engineering areas
    • Experience working with the Department of Defense or Department of Homeland Security
    • Passion for robotics and drones
