    Job Description

    The VP Client Development functions as a trusted advisor to CJ's most strategic clients as well as to an internal organization of 40-60 associates including 3-5 Client Development Directors. This individual ensures CJ's Client Development team is delivering YOY growth by developing and implementing strategic growth initiatives. The VP provides solid business acumen, using it to drive account acquisition, retention and growth as well as a means to achieve integration with the organization as a whole. The Vice President serves as a member of the U.S. Client Development leadership team, helping to drive overall CJ growth and working to shape the future success of our clients, product and business.

    • Lead a large portfolio of accounts, working with Client Development Directors and account teams to ensure they drive growth through strategic leadership, client/category expertise and consistent delivery of work that meets or exceeds client and internal expectations good work.

    • Lead, manage and galvanize a united team across multiple locations. Set the vision, build a culture of high performance, creativity and collaboration. Create a robust, trusted leadership team of experts to attract, grow and retain talent.

    • Relentlessly drive growth, identify and deliver business opportunities through detailed understanding of CJ and your clients' business imperatives.

    • Serves as strategic partner to the sales team in appropriate business development opportunities; garners support from within the assigned book of business.

    • A Bachelor's Degree or commensurate professional experience.
    • Proven track record of building credible and meaningful partnerships with senior client ands and C-Suite, ideally 10+ yrs experience within an agency or affiliate network leading these relationships.
    • Analytical, organized and methodical, with phenomenal communication skills and a consultative approach in addressing fluid client needs and expectations.
    • Has experience of multiple verticals and industries and client environments and is excited by the power of technology to transform an organization through marketing services.
    • Understanding of performance marketing, strategy, and resource management models to optimize and inform both business as well as growth decisions.
    • Operational ability to build the right team structures and operating models to deliver across all client assignments.
    • Offers a strong point of view for integrated marketing services. Knows how to leverage internal resources.
    • Adept at working in a variety of environments and cultures and able to lead a team in an authentic, motivating and relevant way.
    • Comfortable navigating complex structures and is comfortable and confident navigating complex and ambiguous scenarios

    Compensation Range: $143,000 - $225,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
