    Job Description

     

    With at least 5 years’ experience in a client or partnerships facing digital marketing role, we are looking for someone who can work strategically & independently. Proactive with a data-driven approach, you will be skilled at developing strong relationships with a positive ‘can do’ attitude. You will contribute to the development and growth of new business and retention of existing major advertisers. There will be a high dependency on you to identify opportunities for improvement to business development processes, collateral, and approach to pitches. You will work closely with business development leadership as well as collaborate with other departments towards achieving those goals. This position will report into the Director, Business Development Strategy.

     

     

     Your day will be varied, and your understanding of CJ’s data, technology, and your comprehensive digital experience are critical to delivering on your responsibilities.

     

    1.    Pitch support & delivery

    a.    Strategy – help define the strategy employed in the pitch, based on best practices and the prospects’ goals and pain points.

    b.    Gap analysis - qualitatively evaluate the analysis & create a go-to-market strategy to present to the prospect.

    c.     Participate at in-person pitches of significance.

    d.    Transition the go-to-market strategy to the delivery team in Client Dev.

    2.    RFP support

    a.    Cultivate and maintain a RFP response library.

    b.    Develop content for the RFP library using best practice responses that are up to date.

    c.     Coordinate with other departments to ensure on-time delivery with excellence.

    d.    Contribute to and/or quarterback the overall response strategy.

    3.    Sales intelligence

    a.    Create and maintain competitor “battle cards” highlighting CJ’s points of differentiation.

    b.    Work with Marketing to create competitive marketing and positioning pieces.

    c.     Train across the team to enable competitive knowledge sharing.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2+ years’ experience in Affiliate Marketing.
    • 5+ years of exposure in digital media/client services and responsibility for digital marketing strategy.
    • A proven track record of successful delivery of business objectives.
    • Proven record of problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Exceptional organizational skills.
    • Conflict management and Influencing skills.
