    Job Description

    We are seeking an Investor Relations Manager to join our team in Los Angeles, CA.

    The candidate must have experience in working with NON-INSTITUTIONAL INVESTORS IN REAL ESTATE.

    The Investor Relations Manager has a primary responsibility of maintaining investor relationships, liaising with third parties on the closing of new investors, working with the legal, transaction, and accounting teams to facilitate investor closes, and anticipate and find solutions for investor needs.

    Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Investor Relations Manager is an integral member Client Services Team and will ensure an excellent customer service experience to our national client base.

    Essential Job Results: ● Provides leadership in liaising with investors and increasing investor engagement. ● Monitors incoming investors and investor requests and answers them timely. ● Track and provide improvements on distributions and contributions to and from investors. ● Organize investor events and maintain constant contact with investors. ● Liaise with the accounting and legal team to assist with investor requests and scheduled reports. ● Establishes and develops relationships with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.

    Essential Functions: • Serves as the key point of contact for the investment community. • Creates presentations, press releases, and other communication materials for earnings releases, industry events, and presentations to investors. • Prepares all physical and digital paperwork related to investor closings. • Manages the investor relations portion of the company website • Organizes conferences, roadshows, earnings conference calls, and investor meetings. • Provides feedback to management regarding the investment community's perception of how the company is being managed and their view of its financial results. • Represents the views of the investor community to the management team in the development of the corporate strategy. • Provides feedback to the management team regarding the impact of various investment vehicles on the investment community. • Provides feedback to the management team regarding the opinions of investors and improvements that can be made to investor relations. • Provides the management team a comprehensive list of new opportunities with current and potential investors. • Follow the established processes to complete customer paperwork from start to completion • Communicate regularly with the Sales Team and Management on the status of investor paperwork • Accurately prepare documents and maintain proper documentation on customer information • Utilize Docusign, SalesForce, and other technology tools on a daily basis. • Partner with teammates to ensure all transactions are completed within the earliest possible timeframe • Support other projects and initiatives as assigned

    Position Qualifications: ● Strategic, “big picture” thinker with critical thinking skills. ● Must be able to handle multiple projects with accuracy under strict deadlines. ● Entrepreneurial perspective. ● A cohesive ability at interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written. ● Able to engage with staff at all levels of the organization and exercise sound judgment. ● Excellent organizational and time-management skills; responsive and good at follow-through. ● Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. ● Knowledgeable of “QuickBooks” financial and reporting capabilities helpful.

    Education and Experience ● Previous experience in real estate required. ● Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field is required. ● MBA is highly desired. ● At least 2-3 years of investor relations experience is highly desirable.
