CLIMBER / ARBORIST

Role Purpose

The Climber / Arborist performs technical aerial tree work including pruning and removals while ensuring safety, precision, and quality workmanship.

Core Responsibilities

Perform tree climbing and aerial operations

Use chainsaws aloft safely and efficiently

Execute rigging and controlled lowering techniques

Conduct pre-job tree and hazard assessments

Maintain rescue readiness at all times

Follow ANSI Z133 and company safety standards

Safety Expectations

Maintain two tie-in points where required

Follow saw handling and positioning rules

Participate in aerial rescue drills and planning

Maintain climbing gear inspection standards

Equipment Authorization
