Position Title: Field Service Engineer
Position Type: Engineer / Outside Sales / Full-Time
Work Schedule: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm (varied)
General Purpose:
Sell represented products and services to mechanical contractors and end users, emphasizing design and build projects. Provide engineering services for commercial and industrial mechanical design/build projects often traveling to meet prospective customers face‐to‐face building rapport, as well as to maintain relationships with existing customers.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop strong business relationships with existing client base
- Provide mechanical design solutions for HVAC commercial/ industrial heating and cooling systems.
- Perform load calculations for HVAC and commercial/industrial cooling and heating systems.
- Participate in system and equipment commissioning
- Prospect and develop new business and customer relationships
- Develop new accounts by selling direct to end‐users
- Participate in marketing strategies
- Research and prospect new equipment manufacturers and distribution channels
- Participate in trade shows and customer events
- Work closely with our represented manufacturers, building long‐term relationships
- Bring creativity, energy, and fresh innovation to the team
- Provide value‐added products, services, and engineered solutions to current customers
- Drive sales growth in assigned territory by developing and executing geographically targeted campaigns
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and mechanical contractors to craft winning solutions for customers
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within our representative territory
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Identify revenue opportunities within customers' communities through communications, programs and other activities as needed.
- Support other divisions of CM Buck
Requirements and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree – engineering or technology
- Relevant mechanical design experience in commercial and industrial fields
- Experience selling machinery and technical equipment in the commercial and industrial HVAC field
