    We’re looking for a social media pro who has a passion for both content creation, skiing and snowboarding, and the outdoor recreation industry. This position also includes snow reporting, which guarantees first tracks each morning – yes, even on epic powder days! The Social Media Specialist will have experience with content creation and storytelling through social and digital media, producing high – quality, in the moment visual content. He/she/they will thrive in a fast-paced work environment and carry a positive attitude. This individual will demonstrate initiative and use independent judgement in completing tasks and meeting deadlines and while managing occasional priority changes. 

    Must be able to work within a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, early mornings, late nights, and shifting schedule for snow events, special events, etc. 

    This is an hourly, full-time, 40 hours per week seasonal position with potential for full time year-round employment. During peak periods, more than 40 hours may be required. 

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Maintain an organized and dynamic ongoing content calendar for all social channels – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snap Chat, etc.

    • Research and implement latest social trends, best practices, and innovations across platforms

    • Monitor and engage with all resort social media channels, including 3rd party review sites

    • Use data tools and insights to monitor social health and performance – report out at weekly managers meeting

    • Independently produce high – quality video and photography content under tight deadlines

    • Experience in design tools and software a plus — Adobe CC, Canva, etc

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent work environment

    • Work closely with Marketing Team to ensure messaging stays on brand.

    • Assist with Snow Reporting duties 4 days a week, including initial morning report and report updates throughout the day.

    • Contribute to team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.

    • Administrative tasks assigned by Marketing Director

    • Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by immediate supervisor.
