We are currently ramping up for the onboarding of a new client and we are searching for a Structural Engineer who can manage one or more engineers and/or designers and independently evaluate, select and apply engineering techniques, criteria, and procedures to engineering projects. We want to build relationships with solid/exceptional talent who is passionate about structural engineering.

In this fun and collaborative environment, you’ll be working with other engineers, drafters and designers to ensure project completion and the functional integration of individual project tasks. Including, preparing and/or reviewing project specifications.

You’ll also:

• Prepare or review requisitions in support of purchasing pre-engineered steel buildings, Structural steel for supports, pre-fabricated pipe supports, and subcontracts.

• Develop and/or review site plans, grading & paving plans

• Prepare and review/approve proposals for Geotechnical Investigation

• Review engineering and design status reports, logs, work plans

• Prepare and/or reviews civil and structural calculations for the design of various structural elements pertaining to the project.

• knowledge in civil engineering principles and their application in engineering projects

To qualify for this role, you’ll need:

• 3-5 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of industry standards and codes published by ACI, IBC, AISC, and ANSI. Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and have the ability to apply the standards to civil & structural analysis & designs

• Knowledge of structural engineering analysis & design computer programs like 3D, Mat 3D, Foundation 3D, LPile, Risa, etc.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• EIT or PE
