    _ **POSITION SUMMARY
    **_ A Foreman is a supervisory role responsible for overseeing work at roofing job sites. Responsible for directing, supervising, and assigning tasks. Ensures that safety rules are followed on the site at all times and develops work schedules based on employee and contractor availability.

    **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    **
    Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Coordinates daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel.
    • Delegates individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors.
    • Educates and trains employees on various jobsites.
    • Provides adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs.
    • Oversees and ensures work is being completed in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer’s specifications.
    • Emphasizes safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets, and procedure.
    • Manages project budgets and quality standards for all sites.
    • Resolves conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably.
    • Regularly reports project status to supervisors.
    • Performs leak investigation, repairs, conduct maintenance sweeps and installations of all types of roofing: Built-up, Modified, EPDM, TPO, PVC, Shingles, Tiles, and Metal.
    • Completes repair, maintenance, and replacement surveys for office staff to put together estimates and proposals.
    • Utilizes the company CRM system and input all labor, material and work description data.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum 18 years of age
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business need
    • The ability to comprehend and follow simple oral instructions
    • Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking
    • Fluent in English is necessary, bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus _ EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE_
    • High school diploma or equivalent; equivalent experience or training may be substituted
    • Minimum 2 years’ previous experience in roofing or constructions sites
    • Previous supervisory experience is a plus
    • In-depth knowledge of OSHA guidelines, equipment, and construction procedures
    • An apprenticeship or license in roofing or relevant field is a plus

    _SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    _
    Directly and indirectly supervises assigned staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; supervising anes; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    _ **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    **_ The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of the job. Requires full range of body movement, such as turning, stooping, kneeling and climbing. Requires full range of hand movements in the performance of the assigned duties, including the utilization of hand and power tools common to maintenance and repair activities. Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds and up to 80 pounds. Ability to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods and ability to work at heights for long hours.

    _ **MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT USED
    **_Motorized vehicles and equipment which may include chemicals, mechanical hand tools, electrical power tools, and materials handling equipment. Motor vehicles including pick-up trucks, dump trucks, forklift; motorized roof top equipment; and kettle. Ability to operate or utilize all general construction equipment including air compressors, nails guns, hammers or hatchets, scaffolding, hand tools, wheelbarrows etc.

    _ **WORKING CONDITIONS
    **_ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. Frequent working around moving mobile equipment. Occasional exposure to materials and chemicals that could cause personal injury if improperly handled.
