CMCM is looking for motivated individuals with manufacturing experience.  This is a temp to hire position with a compressed work week (12 hour shifts), daily/weekly overtime pay, and excellent opportunities for advancement. We will train individuals with the right attitude, communication skills, safety consciousness and work ethic to be successful in this position! It is a great way to get your foot in the door!     

Key Responsibilities:  

-Operates equipment used to manufacture CMCM products 

-Weighs, measures and checks raw materials to ensure that batches manufactured contain proper ingredients in proper quantities 

-Produces, packages and prepares CMCM products for shipment

-Receive raw material and containers

-Perform required data entry and record keeping using MS Word and Excel 

-Perform required quality testing and inspections 

-Maintain safe and clean working environment 

-Immediately address any deviation to CMCM values, procedures, policies, etc. 

-Participate in continuous improvement (LEAN manufacturing) teams and activities. 

-Contribute to plant safety initiatives 

-Performs in-process tests (such as hardness, weight, variation, pH and moisture content) to ensure that batches meet customer specifications

-Recognizes equipment and product problems, notifies supervisor and/or troubleshoots errors in order to achieve optimum production levels 

-Perform miscellaneous production and warehouse related tasks (for example, cycle count, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, inventory, incident investigations) 

Required Qualifications: 

Technical– Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and materials handling. 

Behavioral– Demonstrated leadership ability and team building skills. 

Computer - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database programs; experienced in Oracle and LIMS data entry. 

Education– High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Associate Degree in a technical field preferred 

Experience– 1 to 3 years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. 

Physical - Ability to work the required shift with occasional shift variations and overtime assignments.  Able to work a 12-hour shift (on your feet much of the time) and routinely lift up to 40 lbs. 

Ability to read, write and speak the English language.  

Schedule: 12 hour shifts on a compressed work week. 

DAYS:

Front Half Days (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday) 5:30am-6pm

Back Half Days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday) 5:30am-6pm

NIGHTS: 

Front Half Nights (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday) 5:30pm-6a

Back Half Nights (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday) 5:30pm-6am
