Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Business systems analyst / Solution Engineer with hands on experience and deep understanding of the entire trading lifecycle from order generation, execution, post-trade trade processing and transactions management

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, development / implementation of Trading solutions with standardized solution platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Triton, Charles River, Aladdin, FlexTrade, Fidessa, etc.) and integration with custom developed solutions
• Architect and develop integration of trading platforms with FIX, Algorithmic trading, ECN, EMS, Exchanges, order routers, price aggregators
• Experience in post trade processing and integration with external post venues, e.g. CTM, DTCC, Trade Suite, FIX Alloc etc.
• Establish functional, non-functional (system performance) and operational service level standards to meet the future state operational, quality and business growth requirements within applicable design constraints
• Investigate proposed solution components suitability and compatibility for the specified purposes and make recommendations regarding any change required to the functional components
• Define functional testing steps, acceptance criteria and conduct systems, application software and data integration tests to ensure proper functioning of the in-scope functionalities
• Collaborate Engineering team on technical work item dependencies, e.g. upgrade, Cloud (Azure) migration, Software feature enhancements, and System integration batch cycle optimization, etc.
• Develop performance testing plan with load simulation criteria and conduct manual or automated testing to analyze and predict system performance under representative and stressed load
• Work closely with project management to communicate project reports, present dependencies, and recommend solutions to resolve any conflict among ongoing parallel initiatives
• Provide expertise on compatibility of software systems transformation from legacy to new technology, considering factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, usability and system performance, and identify any gaps in the solution based on the available product features and any enhancement required
• Document system specifications, including key workflows, installation, migration and system configuration information
• Provide post go-live support and application software maintenance, including monitoring system operation to detect issues, troubleshooting reported problems, re-configuring, testing, migrating, or enhancing any application software component for remediating problems found in the system

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• BA/ BS in Information technology/ computer science or equivalent
• Hands on technical design, development and implementation experience in Trading Technology platforms e.g. Bloomberg, Triton, Charles River, Aladdin, FlexTrade, Fidessa, and similar platforms
• Deep technical experience in trading platform integration for FIX, Algorithmic trading, ECN, EMS, Exchanges, order routers, price aggregators
• Experience in real time risk limit monitoring and integration with trading systems
• Experience in design, configuration, testing and delivery of next generation trading platform automation including on and off platform solutions
• Domain knowledge of Fixed Income, Currency, Derivatives, Equities Electronic Trading and Analytics
• Experience in Multi-threaded/concurrent programming, lock-free algorithms, low-latency messaging and network protocols
• Hands on experience in delivering electronic trading solutions including configuration, support and enhancement of current state solutions through continuous development and deployment, benchmark testing, performance monitoring, capacity management and environment configuration
• Experience with software lifecycle tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins/Bamboo, and source control systems such as Git, Perforce, etc.
• Experience in automation scripts using Python, VBA, Java or similar languages in a trading environment
• Hands on experience in data analysis, design and integration of market data and analytics in a fast-paced, agile environment, adapting testing efforts to meet project needs and deadlines
• Experience in Data integration technology, e.g. Informatica, Pentaho, Kafka, Snowflake etc.
• Detailed technical experience in understanding trading systems requirements and transforming into leading edge solutions
• Experience in research and analysis of industry standard products, protocols and solutions and identify architectural solutions consisting of systems data, hardware and software to meet the requirements of trading technology transformation
• Design and develop application software and configure systems to deliver financial (trading and portfolio management)
