    To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

    • Read blueprint to determine dimensions and tolerance specifications per Geometric Dimension & Tolerance (GD&T) to Ansi 14.5 standards
    • Perform in-depth part layout using direct drive CMM and bench layout
    • Perform capability studies
    • Evaluate CMM data for accuracy, prior to submission
    • Assists with PPAP submissions
    • Performs gauge R&R (repeatability and reproducibility)
    • Maintain CMM & CMM software in good working order
    • Write CMM Programs

    This full-time, hourly, role is a part of our Quality team and reports to the Quality Manager.

    Required experience:

    REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • Associates/Technical degree or equivalent experience.
    • One to three (3) years experience as a CMM programmer/operator in PCDMIS preferred.

    ** REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES**

    • Experience in calibration methods and use of measuring tools.
    • Technical math skills.
    • Ability to read blueprints.
    • Ability to read and write in English and perform mathematical calculations.

    PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • General knowledge of Quality Systems (i.e.; SPC, ISO/TS 16949 etc.)
    • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
    • Root cause/ problem solving ability.
    • Good understanding of GD&T.
    • Ability to work well with others in a fast paced team environment.

  • Qualifications
    • Good knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification codes, basic warehouse procedures, and the storage areas in order to be able to place or pull paper stock, signatures and materials in accordance with standard procedures.
    •  Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instruction.
    •  Able to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials.
    •  Good skill in the use of shrink-wrap and strapping equipment, powered lift equipment, pallet jacks, manual dollies, carts or stretch wrapping tools and equipment, tape fasteners, metal band sheers and related equipment.
    • Good math skills, ability to complete inventory documents.
    • Ability to communicate in English; read, write, and speak.
    • Requires skill in operating/ using forklift truck; certification required.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Continuous standing/walking - 8 hrs or more.
    • Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching.
    • Frequent lifting and pushing/pulling - 50 lbs. or more.
    • Frequent repetitive motion with both hands.

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    •  Noise, dust, and temperature conditions.
    • Exposure to chemicals used during the printing process.
    • Working around moving machinery; multiple nip points.
