CMM Programmer

Big Lake, MN | Direct Hire | $32 - 40 /hr

Konik is partnering with a well known local manufacturer seeking to add a CMM Programmer/Metrologist to their team.  Bring your precision and programming skills to a fast-paced, innovation-driven manufacturing environment. This hands-on role focuses on programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), conducting first article inspections, and resolving measurement challenges to ensure top-tier quality standards.

CMM Programmer /Metrologist Responsibilities:

• Program and operate CMMs (PCDMIS or Calypso) to meet inspection requirements
• Perform first article inspections and interpret CMM reports
• Support fixture development and troubleshoot CMM programming and hardware issues
• Develop and manage CMM maintenance plans
• Train team members on measurement techniques and equipment use
• Maintain and oversee inspection tools and calibration routines

CMM Programmer /Metrologist Qualifications:

• 3+ years of CMM programming experience (PCDMIS preferred; Calypso a plus)
• Strong GD&T and blueprint reading experience
• Familiarity with first article inspection (FAI) processes
• Proficient with manual inspection tools (e.g., micrometers, bore gages, comparators)
• Comfortable navigating Excel and documenting results
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred
