Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CMM Programmer to join our team in Grantsburg, WI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and precision of our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CMM programs for various measurement tasks.
• Perform inspections on machined parts using CMM equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Analyze measurement data and prepare detailed reports for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve measurement processes.
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot measurement issues, providing solutions to enhance accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CMM Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

• Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso).

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

• Knowledge and experience working in an AS9100 Qulaity System

• Experience with DOD and Aerospace requirements preferred.

• Blueprint Reading

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) (Zeiss, Hexagon)
• Calipers and Micrometers

Salary info:

$30 - $40 / hr
