    Vector Talent Solutions is a veteran-owned workforce solutions firm dedicated to helping organizations identify, attract, and hire top talent. We are currently seeking a Coordinate Measuring Machine Operator for a client within the automotive manufacturing industry.

    Position Overview
    This role is responsible for supporting quality operations by ensuring accurate measurement and inspection of machined components within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position works closely with quality and machining teams to maintain product standards, identify discrepancies, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This individual will contribute to maintaining quality compliance while supporting production efficiency and customer expectations.

    Responsibilities:
    • Perform inspections using CMM and other measuring equipment to ensure product quality standards are met
    • Review quality audits, inspections, and reports; investigate and correct discrepancies in a timely manner
    • Support SPC systems and maintain accurate inspection data and records
    • Assist with gage R&R studies and measuring system analysis
    • Work with Quality and Machining teams to resolve part, material, and process-related issues
    • Ensure compliance with APQP documentation and quality procedures
    • Maintain a safe, organized, and 5S-compliant work environment

    Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 4–6 years of experience in quality inspection or machining within a manufacturing environment
    • Experience operating CMM equipment and interpreting measurement data
    • Strong knowledge of quality systems, SPC, and inspection processes
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with ADP, EASE, or Autoway preferred
    • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and communication skills
    • Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and travel as needed

    Compensation: ($70,000 – $90,000)
