    Job Description

    CMW Strategies, a top-ten lobbying firm in New York City, is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and dependable person to join their team. The Administrative Assistant & Scheduler will handle office administrative tasks and coordinate senior staff calendars. 

    The primary responsibilities of this role are:  

    • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operations of office, including answering phones and supporting visitors 
    • Maintain supplies and office inventory 
    • Assist office manager in billing and compliance 
    • Organize and communicate internally on office matters 
    • Manage senior staff schedules including meetings and events
    • Meet with senior staff regularly to discuss requests, review the schedule and troubleshoot any potential scheduling conflicts 
    • Respond to all invitations and requests, resolving scheduling conflicts as they occur
    • Research meeting topics and put together background material in advance of meeting

    The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and competencies:  

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
    • Experience communicating professionally
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Proficiency at Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Outlook, Google Docs, Google Calendar
    • Minimum of 1-3 years experience
