The AADP provides a safe therapeutic day setting to adults with special needs and or with functional limitations- including Alzheimer's Disease, dementia, stroke, Parkinson's Disease, cerebral palsy, head injuries, developmental disabilities, and other age-related issues.

Duties
Assist participants with personal care needs
Assist participants in the bathroom
Ambulate and transfer participants
Assist with meal and snack preparation, including serving and cleaning up
Participate in staff trainings and team meetings
Document observations and changes in participant and Medicaid charts
Plan and implement therapeutic activities for people with physically and cognitively impairments
Desirables
experience working with people with dementia
experience working with people with physical or cognitive impairments
experience planning and organizing group activities
experience related to adult daycare
experience working with diverse cultures
ability to speak Spanish
