    Caring Companions offers non-medical home care to seniors and veteran's throughout Connecticut. We provide the needed care for someone so they can safely stay in their home as independently as possible. We assist client's with Bathing, Dressing, Toileting, Meal Prep, Light Housekeeping, Medication Reminders, Safety Supervision, Transportation for appointments.

    Each client is different with different needs. We will match you and a client based off your skill set, personality and availability.

    We are hiring Part Time Caregivers who can work during the week and/or weekends and can provide. Hours will be determined and based off of your availability. - The more flexible your schedule is, the more options we have for placements.

    Qualifications:

    Valid driver's license and own vehicle

    2 years of hands-on professional experience OR recent successful completion of a CNA program

    Must be Compassionate, Reliable, Dedicated

    Physical Requirements:

    Able to stand, kneel, bend at knees, and squat throughout the day

    Ability to safely assist clients in and out of a vehicle and safely lift a wheelchair or walker weighing up to 50lbs into and out of a vehicle

    Physical ability to lift and transfer clients with proper body mechanics

    Use arms, legs, feet, hands, and fingers to assist clients with performing tasks of daily living

    Frequently move the whole body to perform tasks such as lifting, light housekeeping, walking, and driving
