Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing essential care and support to patients under the supervision of nursing staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
- Monitor and report changes in patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for patients.
- Assist in the maintenance of patient hygiene and comfort.
- Provide companionship and support to patients, promoting a positive and nurturing environment.
- Follow established policies and procedures for infection control and safety.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant license/certification in NC.
- CPR/AED certification preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- High level of patience, empathy, and compassion.
- Excellent communication and observational skills.
- Ability to lift and/or move patients as necessary.
