Empathyhands Homecare is seeking an experienced male caregiver (CNA or HHA preferred) to provide in-home care services for a client in Palmdale. This position requires hands-on assistance with mobility and personal care.

We are also seeking a compassionate and dedicated On-Call Caregiver with experience in dementia care to provide essential support to a client in the Lancaster and Palmdale areas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in caregiving, particularly in home care settings, geriatrics, and ADL care. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clientss allowing our clients to maintain their independence while receiving the care they needs

Job Responsibilities:

Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

Transfers from wheelchair to bed using proper body mechanics

Sponge baths and personal hygiene care

Feeding assistance

Companionship and supervision

Ensuring client safety at all times

Qualifications:

Previous experience in home care required

CNA or HHA certification preferred

Experience with safe transfers and mobility assistance

Ability to lift and assist using proper transfer techniques

Reliable, professional, and compassionate

Ability to work consistent evening shifts

Schedule:

Sunday through Saturday 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
