    About us: Caring Companions is a non-medical home care agency that supports Seniors and Veterans throughout Connecticut. We provide all personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, etc.). We also provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, safety supervision, companionship and transportation.

    What makes us different? Our office staff have been in your shoes! Office staff have been caregivers prior coming into the office setting. So when you call into the office with a question or need extra training, we can help. We understand exactly what you, as a caregiver, are going through, especially when you are working with a difficult client.

    Each Client is different with different needs. Each Caregiver is different, with different experience. We will match you and a client based off your skill set, personality and availability.

    Caring Companions is hiring Part Time Caregivers who can work short and long shifts during the week and/or weekend. We offer anywhere between 3 hour shifts to 12 hour shifts and everything in between. Caring Companions has clients all throughout Connecticut.

    Qualifications:

    Valid driver's license and own vehicle

    2 years of hands-on professional experience OR recent successful completion of a CNA program

    Must be Compassionate, Reliable, Dedicated

    Physical Requirements:

    Able to stand, kneel, bend at knees, and squat throughout the day

    Ability to safely assist clients in and out of a vehicle and safely lift a wheelchair or walker weighing up to 50lbs into and out of a vehicle

    Physical ability to lift and transfer clients with proper body mechanics

    Use arms, legs, feet, hands, and fingers to assist clients with performing tasks of daily living

    Frequently move the whole body to perform tasks such as lifting, light housekeeping, walking, and driving
