Shift Flexibility:
Able to work flexible shifts depending on availability (morning, afternoon, or night).
Job Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
- Foster a supportive and empathetic atmosphere for patients and their families.
State-Specific Requirements (Iowa)
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals (DIA) and state-mandated criteria:
- Licensure: Must hold a current Iowa CNA Certification in good standing. (Verification will be conducted via the Iowa DIA registry ).
- Background Clearance: Must pass the IA SING Background Check , which includes:
* Criminal History
* Sex Offender Registry check
* Child Abuse Registry check
* Dependent Adult Abuse Registry check
- Mandatory Training: Completion of the Dependent Adult Abuse Training (IA Course DS 168) is required.
- Verification: Employment is contingent upon successful online verification of credentials.
Qualifications
- Current IA CNA License.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the role (lifting, standing for long periods).
