    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including nursing homes, teaching hospitals, and long-term care facilities. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for patients by assisting with their daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

    Duties

    • Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
    • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
    • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
    • Help with mobility by assisting patients in moving from one place to another, including using wheelchairs or walkers.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.
    • Document patient care activities accurately in medical records.
    • Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
    • Participate in training programs to enhance skills in areas such as phlebotomy and emergency medicine.

    Certifications: BLS, State licensed

    Requirements

    • Previous experience in a nursing home, hospital, or long-term care setting is preferred.
    • Familiarity with medical documentation practices is highly desirable.
    • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as Level I Trauma Centers or emergency medicine settings.
    • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
    • Certification as a Nursing Assistant is required; additional certifications related to inpatient care or medical office procedures are a plus.
    • Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting and moving patients safely.

    Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
