    About the Role:

    South Richmond Adult Day Care is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team in Richmond, VA.     Responsibilities:

    Assist participants with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility

    Monitor and record vital signs, health status, and any changes in participant condition

    Support participants during meals, snacks, and hydration throughout the day

    Assist with therapeutic and recreational activities in a group day program setting

    Communicate effectively with nursing staff, caregivers, and family members regarding participant needs

    Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all participants

    Provide emotional support and companionship to promote participant well-being

    Requirements:

    Active Virginia CNA certification in good standing

    Prior experience in adult care, geriatric care, or a day program setting preferred

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to working with adults

    Ability to assist with transfers, ambulation, and physical care tasks

    Reliable, punctual, and a committed team player

    CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
