Position Overview: Legacy at College Hill, proudly managed by Campbell Street Senior Living, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Memory Care team. This role is dedicated to providing specialized care for residents living with memory loss. Candidates must have prior memory care experience to be considered. The Memory Care CNA plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care, promoting dignity, and fostering a safe, supportive environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting, and feeding.
• Deliver compassionate and respectful memory care tailored to each resident’s individual needs.
• Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being and promptly report changes to nursing staff.
• Engage residents in activities designed to support memory care needs and encourage meaningful interaction.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Uphold infection control, safety, and HIPAA standards at all times.
• Collaborate with care team members to ensure consistent, quality care.
• Support residents’ families with understanding, patience, and communication regarding care plans.

Education & Qualifications

• Active Kansas CNA certification required.
• Previous memory care experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s, and other memory-related conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, stooping, and reaching as needed to assist residents.
• Ability to respond quickly to resident needs and emergencies.
