Job Description:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in our healthcare facility, providing essential support to our nursing staff and directly assisting our patients with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, possess excellent communication skills, and be a team player.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration) and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Assist with patient repositioning and mobility, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Support patients with nutritional needs, including meal preparation and feeding assistance.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Adhere to infection control procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
- Participate in patient care planning and implement care plans as directed by nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.

Qualifications:

- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in North Carolina.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered attitude.
- Physical ability to perform patient care tasks, including lifting and moving patients.
- Basic CPR and first aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
