HJ Staffing is looking for compassionate and dependable Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) - Nursing Facility to join our team in providing vital support to residents within a nursing facility. As an integral part of the care team, you will work under the supervision of licensed nurses to enhance patient outcomes and ensure the comfort of those under your care.

Key Responsibilities

• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Patient Support: Provide basic care and comfort measures under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN).
• Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient information such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided in accordance with facility policies and professional ethics.
• Facility Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for all residents.

Required Credentials & Compliance

Candidates must be authorized to work in the US and meet all state regulatory requirements. The following credentials are required for this position:

• Certification & Registration: * Active Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry (NARS) status.
  • Online License Verification through the MA Health Professions License Verification website.
• Training & Attestation: * Signed Annual Mandatory Training Attestation Form. * Completed CEU Dementia Training (Minimum 8 hours initial; 4 hours annually for MA facilities).
• Health & Immunization: * PPD results (2-step skin test or QuantiFERON); Positive PPD results require additional documentation. * Current Influenza Vaccination. * Physical examination (No expiration date).
• Background Clearances: * MA Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) Search. * State and National Sex Offender Registry Searches.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Successful completion of a state-approved CNA training and competency evaluation program.
• Interpersonal Skills: Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and families.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
• Attributes: A level-headed demeanor, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining patient privacy.
